One of the busiest shopping days of the year Black Friday has already started and that will be followed by next week’s Cyber Monday. As online shopping has become another accepted way of shopping, retailers are using it now for Black Friday deals. Also its worth noting that in recent years retailers have also decided to a do a version of Black Friday called Cyber Monday, for those of us who like to shop online and who may have not got the chance to shop on Black Friday.
Sometimes these online deals can last from Black Friday to Cyber Monday and you can end up like a kid in a candy store looking at all the bargains. Whilst you are busy preparing to shop, cyber criminals are also busy preparing, preparing to steal your bank, credit card, debit card and PayPal details. When a bargain you deem as must have is spotted, you do all you can to buy it, resulting in you not taking precautions to make sure that you have shopped online safely.
There are certain steps that you can take to make sure that your online shopping is done safely and securely. One of my earliest blog posts dealt with shopping online safely and securely and you can find it here. Have fun shopping during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and don’t forget to read my earlier blog post to ensure that your online shopping trip is plain sailing.
